    GENERAL SUMMARY: This position serves as a member of the management team to provide oversight and support of program management. Works to support systems integration of content area specialists that support activities and design tools and systems for effective practice. Implements a process of ongoing monitoring and continuous improvement for achieving program goals and work to strengthen overall program quality and service delivery. Work closely with Program Director, Site Manager, Lead Site Manager and other managers to communicate and coordinate ongoing issues and needs and develop capacity to address critical priorities. This position has overall responsibility for assuring the planning and implementation of the defined planning, administration, and evaluation and related planning functions for the entire program. This position oversees the smooth functioning of the program content areas services to include nutrition, health (medical, dental, mental health), services to children with disabilities, family and community partnerships, Head Start Performance Standards (HSPS) Part 1302, to provide services to children and families and to support the goals of the program.

     EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:  A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in a human service field such as early childhood, education, psychology, social work plus two years of experience in administration is required.  Courses in public administration to include budgeting, personnel, and supervision preferred.  Previous Head Start/Early Head Start experience required.  Courses, training or work experience which includes human resources management and supervision are required.

    Position is 40 hours per week, 52 weeks per year. Pay is  $2,200.00 bi-weekly

    Administrative Assistant Human Resources

    JOB TITLE: Administrative Assistant Human Resources

    IMMEDIATE SUPERVISOR: Program Director

    GENERAL SUMMARY: This position is responsible for the human resources activities of the program including personnel files, ensuring orientation and tracking of staff. This position is responsible for the smooth operations of an office and other duties related to administration including answering phones, filing, etc. Performs all duties as required by the Program Director and/or immediate supervisor and other duties as assigned relating to the administrative component including, policy and procedure updates, typing, word processing, faxing, acting as receptionist and other clerical duties.

    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Minimum requirements are a high school diploma or GED with some relevant experience in human resources and/or secretarial functions. AA degree or higher preferred. The individual must possess a sound working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel. The position must have the ability to manage numerous tasks, possess good organizational skills, communicate effectively with co-workers and the public, and work collaboratively in a team environment.

    Bilingual preferred (English/Spanish or English and other languages present in the local area).

    Position is 40 hours per week, 52 weeks per year. Pay is $18.00 per hour.

    GENERAL SUMMARY: This position supports and assists families as they identify and meet their own goals through a family-centered case management model for developing and carrying out the program Family Partnership Agreements including responsibility for child files, enrollment/applications, etc.  This position also assists with the completion of the child health requirements and other required screenings and assessments.  This position supports the larger system of social services coordinated by Head Start/Early Head Start, thereby supporting the goals of the program. The position may involve reassignment of caseloads and/or center location as deemed necessary for program operations.

    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:  Minimum requirement is an AA or higher in Social Work or Human Services or related human services field is preferred.

    Position is 40 hours per week, 48 weeks per year. Pay is  $14.00 hourly with AA - $16.00 hourly with BA
