Dear Early Head Start and Head Start Parents and Guardians,
We have great news! CDI Head Start has completed the process of securing the required Virginia Childcare licenses and are preparing to begin services. Thank you for your patience!
On Monday, April 22, 2024, Park Street (Jordan classroom), Tye River and Rockfish will begin services at the designated times for each school. For the families of Agnor Hurt and Crozet, the teacher will be contacting you to secure information and documents required for Albemarle Public School District. Once completed we will begin services.
We are looking forward to opening the remaining classrooms at Hollymead, Greer and Park Street centers as soon as we are able to recruit and hire qualified staff.
Until that occurs, Fluvanna County Public Schools has provided an opportunity for your child to be served by their VPK program through the end of this school year, in the same classroom they attended with new staff. If you are interested in having your child return to that classroom on April 9, 2024, please call Central Elementary at 434-589-8318 or email rebecca-smith@apps.fluco.org.
Unfortunately, the Louisa center is no longer available. We are actively seeking a new space to serve children in that area.
