UPDATED: April 21, 2020 - Update for EHS Families about Closure.

Dear parents,

We know this time for your family may be difficult and unique in its challenges, as we all deal with the COVID-19 closures and social distancing. We are going to do what we can to help! Your center staff will continue to be in communication throughout any closure period to support you. We will also be providing resources on this website, so you have options for continued learning for your child, and direct links to resources for other needs your family may have.

Please see below for topic area sections, and as always please reach out directly to your center staff for anything else you need.

Status of Center Closures

Martin County Early Head Start is closed at this time due to COVID-19.

We will follow the closure schedule of the public schools where your Head Start center is located.  As long as the public schools are closed due to COVID-19, the Head Start center will remain closed. We will open centers when the public schools reopen.

Currently Martin County School District schools will be closed the rest of the academic school year.

At this time, we continue to follow the State and Center for Disease Control guidance as it relates to taking precautionary actions as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic.  Early Head Start center-based services will remain suspended until further notice.  We will stay in communication supporting our enrolled families and will let you know if and when we are able to once again safely operate center-based services.

Parent and Child Learning Resources

This area includes a link to a list of several learning opportunities for you and your child to do together! Your child’s teacher is also available to speak with you by phone call to support any lesson you would like more information about from these resources.
