Program Aide

Join the Head Start teaching team in a teacher assistant type position in facilitating many classroom activities such as field trips, lesson planning, and classroom maintenance. This is a great opportunity to learn the basics of the Head Start classroom and start a career track to becoming a Head Start Teacher.  This position may also assist in the kitchen, bus, or other areas of operation. As a minimum requirement, the applicant must be 18 years of age. This is an entry-level position requiring no previous education or experience unless there is a local or state regulation that requires a high school diploma or G.E.D. Education Services Manager

Center Supervisor

We are looking to hire a dedicated and experienced Center Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day activities of our Head Start centers and ensure that local, state, and federal childcare requirements are met. The responsibilities of the Supervisor include communicating with parents, the community, and supervision and monitoring of all Head Start staff working at the assigned center(s). As a minimum requirement, applicant must have a current CDA credential with at least two years of experience working with young children and families and the ability to meet the state requirement(s) for “site director”.  Associate degree or higher in early childhood education, child development, or other related education or human service degree with experience working with young children preferred. This HR position is largely an administrative position responsible for recruiting and hiring new staff.  The Human Resources Specialist will maintain staff files using ADP, run background checks, check references, and complete other office work. The Human Resources Specialist is expected to be competent in basic office and administrative skills with superb organizational and time management skills. Applicant must be reliable and should accurately follow instructions with the ability to multitask and adjust in a fast-paced environment. Center Supervisor/Lead Teacher  

Our Head Start is looking for a dedicated, experienced and passionate educator to fill the role of Center Supervisor/Lead Teacher to oversee the day-to-day activities of our Head Start centers and ensure that local, state, and federal childcare requirements are met. The responsibilities of the Supervisor include communicating with parents, the community, and supervision and monitoring of all Head Start staff working at the assigned center(s). Applicant will be collaborating with a team of teachers, administrators, and parents to ensure that our students receive the best education we can provide. To be successful as a Center Supervisor/Lead Teacher, applicant should be someone with a deep understanding of what it takes to teach young children in Head Start effectively. Program Aide

Join the Head Start teaching team in a teacher assistant type position in facilitating many classroom activities such as field trips, lesson planning, and classroom maintenance. This is a great opportunity to learn the basics of the Head Start classroom and start a career track to becoming a Head Start Teacher.  This position may also assist in the kitchen, bus, or other areas of operation. As a minimum requirement, the applicant must be 18 years of age. This is an entry-level position requiring no previous education or experience unless there is a local or state regulation that requires a high school diploma or G.E.D. A high school diploma or G.E.D. is preferred. Some states may require additional requirements for kitchen aide duties (i.e., Safe Serve).

Teacher Infant/Toddler– Early Head Start

We are looking to employ a qualified Infant/Toddler Teacher, who has a passion for instilling values in young children in our Early Head Start program. The Infant/Toddler Teacher should possess high energy and the ability to handle the demands of babies and toddlers with different personalities and needs. As a minimum requirement, the applicant to be a teacher must have a current Child Development Associate (CDA) credential or comparable credential and have been trained or have equivalent coursework in early childhood development with a focus on infant and toddler development.
