Program Aide
Join the Head Start teaching team in a teacher assistant type position in facilitating many classroom activities such as field trips, lesson planning, and classroom maintenance. This is a great opportunity to learn the basics of the Head Start classroom and start a career track to becoming a Head Start Teacher. This position may also assist in the kitchen, bus, or other areas of operation. As a minimum requirement, the applicant must be 18 years of age. This is an entry-level position requiring no previous education or experience unless there is a local or state regulation that requires a high school diploma or G.E.D. A high school diploma or G.E.D. is preferred. Some states may require additional requirements for kitchen aide duties (i.e., Safe Serve).

Education Services Manager

Center Supervisor
We are looking to hire a dedicated and experienced Center Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day activities of our Head Start centers and ensure that local, state, and federal childcare requirements are met. The responsibilities of the Supervisor include communicating with parents, the community, and supervision and monitoring of all Head Start staff working at the assigned center(s). As a minimum requirement, applicant must have a current CDA credential with at least two years of experience working with young children and families and the ability to meet the state requirement(s) for “site director”. Associate degree or higher in early childhood education, child development, or other related education or human service degree with experience working with young children preferred. Family Advocates build partnerships and facilitate access to community services for children and families enrolled in Head Start and Early Head Start. This position coordinates with other specialists in the content areas of education, health (medical, dental, nutrition, mental health), etc. to provide quality services to children and families and to support the goals of the family and the program. Bachelor’s or Associates degree preferred, however, applicants able to obtain a credential or certification in social work, human services, family services, counseling, or related field within eighteen months of hire will also be considered. Human Resources Specialist
This HR position is largely an administrative position responsible for recruiting and hiring new staff. The Human Resources Specialist will maintain staff files using ADP, run background checks, check references, and complete other office work. The Human Resources Specialist is expected to be competent in basic office and administrative skills with superb organizational and time management skills. Applicant must be reliable and should accurately follow instructions with the ability to multitask and adjust in a fast-paced environment. Applicant will work in close collaboration with other team members and have strong communication skills. The HR applicant must possess a sound working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel. As a minimum requirement, the applicant must have a high school diploma or GED with some relevant experience in human resources and/or secretarial functions. An associate degree or higher in a related field is preferred. Experience with ADP is a plus.

Our Head Start is looking for a dedicated, experienced and passionate educator to fill the role of Center Supervisor/Lead Teacher to oversee the day-to-day activities of our Head Start centers and ensure that local, state, and federal childcare requirements are met. Program Aide
Join the Head Start teaching team in a teacher assistant type position in facilitating many classroom activities such as field trips, lesson planning, and classroom maintenance.
