Program Options

Migrant and Seasonal Head Start Program

Migrant and Seasonal Head Start (MSHS) programs serve children birth to age 5 from families engaged in agricultural work. Programs are designed to meet the unique needs of farmworker families, with schedules that often adjust to planting and harvest seasons. Children learn in warm, engaging classrooms where teachers support early reading, math, and social‑emotional development. MSHS programs also provide healthy meals, health screenings, and family support services, while partnering closely with parents to support their child’s learning and success.
